I know librarians are pictured as always shushing people to be quiet in the library, but Mrs. Wilson and I admit that the quiet of MAP testing is too much for the modern school library. We are used to a busy, active library with students working on a variety of projects. The quiet of testing seems very unusual. Being open before school and at study helped us feel more like a library. Fortunately MAP testing should finish next Wednesday. Then the IMC can get back to "normal" library business -- book check-out, research, group projects, Brain Pop, etc.

MAP Testing
I know librarians are pictured as always shushing people to be quiet in the library, but Mrs. Wilson and I admit that the quiet of MAP testing is too much for the modern school library. We are used to a busy, active library with students working on a variety of projects. The quiet of testing seems very unusual. Being open before school and at study helped us feel more like a library. Fortunately MAP testing should finish next Wednesday.
